Fingers Crossed

I am taking a break and keeping my fingers crossed.

I’m heading out of town for a highly anticipated trip and a much-needed two-week break. We’ll often be off the grid, so Accountabaloney will be quiet through Election Day and whatever chaos, excitement, or combination of the two follows.

My silence should not be mistaken for a lack of interest. I’m simply trading screen time for a little perspective and some long-awaited adventure. There will be plenty to discuss when I return.

I’m sincerely hoping Florida will still have a functioning public school system when I get back. Please keep standing up for our students, our educators, and the schools that welcome them all. And please vote for candidates who will protect and invest in public education, up and down the ballot.
